Workshop-cum-Consultation with Landfill Impacted Communities

Environment Support Group, in partnership with the Commonwealth Foundation, is conducting a series of discussions with various groups that are disproportionately affected by climate change. The aim is to create a socially inclusive and decentralised climate action plan for Bengaluru!

For this discussion in the series, we have organised a workshop-cum-consultation with the residents of Mavallipura, who have been suffering due to two landfills near their residence for the last two decades. This discussion serves as an opportunity to understand how climate change is further impacting their lives and livelihoods.
