Massive Earthquake in Nepal

Appeal to support Relief efforts

Press Release : Bangalore : 26 April 2015

Man rescued from debris

The massive earthquake that struck Nepal on 25th April 2015 has devastated the country.  Aftershocks and tremors continue to reverberate and terrorise communities  across the Himalayan regions, and also through the massive Gangetic plains - from Delhi to Kolkota.  It will be several days before the actual scale of this Himalayan catastrophe will be known to us.

A little monk amongst the ruins
As Governments and relief agencies across South Asia and from around the world are scrambling to help the victims, each of us could do our bit to help.

A list of medicines and other material immediately needed are enclosed below. Please keep these ready to deliver to a collection point when called for.

In the meantime, you could contribute monetarily to relief and rehabilitation efforts - money that will go to credible agencies who have the experience of responding effectively to such catastrophes.

Details of all contributors and also how contributions have reached impacted areas will be posted on ESG website: www.esgindia.org.
